WHY DO YOU HATE YOUR JOB?

 

Lack of Appreciation, Unsafe Work Conditions, Don’t have the proper tools for the jobs, Shop is Outdated, Uncomfortable Uniforms, Working Weekends, they take a lot out of my check every week, the People I work with, Management - they don’t even know who I am - I’m just a # to them, not open to new ideas or processes / Corporate Red Tape, long commute, Broken Promises, ……..  The list goes on!

                                                                                                                      

SO WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE?!?

SAYING IT IS THE SAME EVERYWHERE …

THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!!

 

Lack of Appreciation - NO ONE appreciates you more than Family - and we are just that!  Being Family Owned and Operated - our Team is a HUGE part of our Family and we believe in showing appreciation for our team members by providing occasional lunches, donuts/rolls/coffee cakes, team dinners, and group outings

 

Unsafe Work Conditions - We work right alongside our team members - we want all our family members safe

 

Don’t Have the Proper Tools for the Jobs - We don’t expect our members to purchase all the tools - the shop buys many tools in order to help you get your work done more efficiently.

 

Shop is Outdated - We pride ourselves on staying current if not even ahead of the curve.  Not only do we have all updated flush machines, tire machines, etc - we also provide a tablet to each technician.  Our team works digitally with Inspections and Work Orders providing the opportunity to have pictures and videos taken and sent to the customer so you aren’t losing a bay waiting for a customer to “come see” so they can understand what is wrong with their vehicle.  This also provides Alldata, and Identifix at your fingertips as well as the history of the repairs performed on that vehicle. 

 

Uncomfortable Uniforms - Who am I to say what you are comfortable in?? You want Jeans / Shorts and a T-shirt - we will provide that.  You like the standard uniforms - no worries - we will provide that as well.  We want you to be happy and no one can do that when they are uncomfortable. 

 

Working Weekends - YOU ARE KIDDING RIGHT??? There is plenty of time during the week to get the work done: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.  Anything more is just taking advantage of your team.  Weekends are for Family, Fun, Fishing, Riding, etc…

 

The People I work with - We have a very tight knit team that likes to joke, laugh, listen to music and have fun while still being productive.  Life is too short to be stuck with people you don’t like!  On the same token - we don’t want to work with crabby people!!

 

Management  - They don’t even know who I am / I’m just a # to them - Being a family and a team means that you know those members and you listen to them. 

 

Not open to new ideas and processes - We LOVE new ideas.  This is a fast changing industry and we need to be able to change with it.  We are not stuck in the world of Corporate Red Tape - we want to try or change something - lets try it!!

 

Long Commute - Well there is only so much we can do about that one - but being located in Richmond and Lexington - there are lots of ways to get to us so you can change up your driving routine daily if you want.

 

Broken Promises - We have been in business over 7 years - you can’t accomplish that by not having integrity - not just with our customers but with our team.  We value our team members - we want to see you succeed and grow in your career and in life. 

 

Along with all this some of the other things we provide for you:

 

MINIMUM of 6 Holidays (There are usually a few others thrown in throughout the year (Christmas Eve, Day after Thanksgiving, etc).  We like to spend time with our children as well.

 

Weekly Paychecks - Direct Deposited

 

Vacation - 1 week after 6 months and then an additional week after your 1 year anniversary. However, if you have put your time in this industry and have earned more vacation time at your current employer - show that to us and we will match your vacation time after the first year.


 

Training - We pay for continuing education multiple times a year
